Donnell Vigers was born in Galveston, Texas, raised in Eunice, Louisiana, but later relocated to the Houston area in 1990. He is the Senior Pastor of Pastor of Church on Fire Christian Center where his wife, Stephanie Vigers works alongside him as Assistant Pastor. They are the proud parents of three adult children: Donnell, Brianna and Brittany Vigers who also serve in the ministry.
On September 8, 2010, Donnell humbly accepted his call from God as a five-fold minister to serve others in the office of Pastor. On December 17, 2010 the Vigers family formally said good-bye to the church family they had worked alongside of for the past 3-1/2 years in order to begin focusing on this new journey with the Lord by starting Church on Fire Christian Center.
Donnell has a degree in Science, specializing in Computer-Aided Drafting
and is certified in Christian Counseling and Stephanie has a
Bachelor's degree in Science with licensing as a Registered
Nurse, and a Master's of Business Administration. She ended her
Nursing Management career in December 2013 and now Donnell and
Stephanie have their dream job of working solely for the Lord to build and advance His kingdom here on earth.
Both Donnell and Stephanie have had several guest show appearances on TBN's Praise the Lord show and a guest appearance on JOY in Our Town which aired on KETH-14 in Houston, TX. Stephanie is the author of Fire Starters: Unleashing the Fire Within You and Misery Has Lost Its Grip On Me, an autobiography that chronicles her childhood struggles that she overcame in adulthood. She and Donnell co-authored Preparing for Revival: Instruction Manual.
Pastor Donnell's program, Awakening the Prophets is focused on teaching about the prophetic and how to live a life worthy of this calling. Pastor Stephanie recently launched the Awakening the Diamonds program which focuses on women knowing their identity, gifts, values, and purpose, and equips them to pursue and fulfill their destiny. Awakening the Diamonds is currently in Texas, Louisiana, New York and Africa, and both TV shows broadcast bi-monthly to over 160 nations. Pastors Stephanie and Donnell are the overall chairmen for the upcoming Revival for Survival of the USA stadium repentance gathering that will be held at Sugar Land's Constellation Field stadium on October 10, 2020.
The Vigers worked months with Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke and his team to host a crusade in Houston, Texas, in February 2015. Since then Donnell and Stephanie have traveled to Africa and Europe in ministry; held a 250-person banquet to honor Houston area Christian leaders that have been faithful to their calling for 20 years or more; ran a Hurricane Harvey Disaster Relief campaign and a food pantry; oversee a 24/7 prayer hotline; and have continued leading or serving on facilitation teams to host citywide prayer gatherings, communion services and evangelism events such as Operation Saturation. Their current assignment from the Lord is to release the fire, press into transformational revival and to serve not only their community but to also serve Greater Houston diligently.
So grateful, the husband and wife team feel that the Lord has blessed them by entrusting such amazing assignments. By God's grace, mercy, favor and goodness, He has made all this possible. The Lord has also blessed them with Reverends Michael and Jill O'Brien of Kingdom Connections International as overseers of their church as well as with supportive Church on Fire members and other ministry friends that have prayed for them throughout the years. As the Vigers continue to press into transformational revival and to serve not only their Sugar Land community but to also serve Greater Houston and the nation diligently, they proclaim the name of and are spreading the fame of Lord and Savior, Jesus, the Christ.
